Community Learning and Skills Grants

The East Midlands ESF Community Learning and Skills Grants 2011-2013.

This programme will provide grants of up to £10,000 to small voluntary and community groups for support activities to enable people from the hardest to reach communities to make progress towards the labour market.Community grants provide "project based funding" - a grant should fully fund the delivery costs of organisations to engage with local communities to deliver a range of skills and employment of a distinct piece of activity. Community grants cannot simply be used to meet your core costs. Your project must help unemployed or economically inactive people who are at a particular disadvantage in the labour market move towards employment and be activities designed by/or in collaboration with the target group.
